The Silva Strive 5 vest is an updated version of the bestseller Strive Light 5, it is 24% lighter, has an improved cut, and the materials from which it is made are the same as the Strive Fly and Strive 10 vests - lightweight ripstop nylon and breathable mesh. The shoulder straps are more padded than the Strive Fly and the pockets can hold 2x500ml soft bottles again. This version has two zippered pockets, a key hook, whistle and reflective elements.

There are two pockets in the back part, the lower longitudinal one is the same as in the Strive Fly and Strive 10 vests, the main back pocket has two outlets for the headlamp cable or the hose from the hydration pack, there is a small pocket inside for fixing the battery. The poles can be attached using flexible adjustable loops, or the poles can be placed in the Silva Quiver bag, which allows easier storage / removal of the poles from the vest during races - the bag can be purchased separately.
