Racing aerodynamic road helmet with MIPS technology - R10 Areo MIPS.
Wind tunnel tests have shown that the profile and volume of the helmet is more important than the number (or even lack) of vents in terms of resistance reduction. If the shape of the helmet fits snugly on the rider's head and is not too far from the skull, the benefit is more effective than a standard high-volume helmet. The helmet label can further reduce drag, so a well-ventilated helmet can be as aerodynamic as a larger volume helmet without holes. There is no reason to compromise airflow to reduce resistance. With reduced volume and carefully optimized shape, the R10 delivers excellent performance in all directions.
