Aether Spherical combines the open design of a perfectly ventilated helmet with a revolutionary system for eliminating rotational forces. Our unique Spherical (Powered by MIPS) technology is based on the joint principle and forms a kind of suspension inside the helmet. The EPS shell consists of two parts (hemispheres) that slide together like a joint. The outer shell can rotate around the inner shell in the event of an impact, reducing the forces that would otherwise act directly on the head and brain. The outer shell is harder - ready for an impact, the inner shell is softer and ready to dampen the impact to the head. Helmets with Spherical technology no longer contain the usual MIPS insert, as you know it from standard MIPS helmets, which has a benefit for riders in the form of improved ventilation and comfort. Our new Roc Loc 5+ Air clamping system is also unique, offering, in addition to the standard vertical adjustment, horizontal displacement of the supporting head blades. The massive ventilation is balanced by the Aura reinforcement arch, which structurally strengthens the helmet's construction.
The helmet is in the equipment of Roman Kreuziger and the professional stables of NTT Pro Cycling, Groupama-FDJ and Total Direct Energie.
