Proven magnet-free (wireless) sensor solutions for cycling. This package includes a speed sensor that can be used separately.In addition to the ANT+ interface, Garmin also adds a Bluetooth interface to the second generation of sensors for the free use of sensors with third-party applications and devices. You don't need to own any other Garmin device to use it, which opens the door to using the sensors with indoor training apps such as ZWIFT, Strava, Endomondo, etc.
The speed sensor can also be used completely independently of a connected Garmin or other compatible device. In this case, the sensor records the distance traveled and speed in the internal memory while riding the bike. This recorded data is then synchronized with your Connect Garmin account when you reconnect to the paired device (smartphone).

The sensor package includes a complete mounting kit for immediate use. The new generation of sensors does not use magnetic sensors, but an integrated (gyroscopic) accelerometer that reliably records every turn of the crank.
