Lapierre Overvolt GLP Elite 29/27.5 electric bike

Give MTB legend Nicolas Vouilloz free rein to come up with the perfect E-MTB enduro and he'll come to you with the Overvolt GLP. An electric bicycle born from countless experiences of the downhill world champion. In Nicolas' eyes, the perfect e-bike is easy to control, playful and highly responsive.

The unrivaled advantage of the Overvolt GLP electric bike is the revolutionary location of the motor, i.e. the center of gravity – it is moved as far as possible to the center of the bike and as close to the ground as possible. This unique position was made possible by the asymmetric carbon frame, which is light, efficient and, of course, extremely innovative.

Assistance is provided by the latest engine of the fourth generation from the Bosch workshop - Bosch Performance CX Gen4, intuitively controlled via the Bosch Kiox display. Bluetooth or WiFi is a matter of course, compatibility with iOS and Android systems as well.

Serious sports equipment for intense and regular off-road driving, where you can 100% rely on sufficient performance and component installation.

Carbon frame

Lightweight, stiff and at the same time still flexible material that absorbs shocks well and increases comfort. A higher price is to be expected.

Hydraulic disc brakes

Reliable in all conditions, better modulation of the braking effect with the use of less force on the lever. Heavier weight, more demanding service.

Air fork

The best option in terms of weight and comfort. Provides more adjustment options (rebound, compression). Requires regular service - the service cycle is specified by the manufacturer.

Air shock

When buying a bicycle, it is necessary to set it to the required pressure according to the weight of the rider (specified by the manufacturer of the shock absorber, a shop assistant can also help you). Unfortunately, it is not in our power to go through each bike and verify the differences between the manufacturer's stated components and its actual equipment. Alternative parts should meet the same standards as the original. We apologise for any discrepancies.

How we ship bikes

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:

The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
