Lapierre eZesty AM 9.2 27.5 electric bike

Lapierre offers bicycles for everyone. Their mission is to offer a bicycle also for "electro-skeptics", or for people who do not need an ebike, but would welcome the help of an electric motor in some situations. And so they combined their best know-how to launch a new generation e-MTB All Mountain.

The Lapierre e-Zesty AM 9.0 Ultimate is the lightest all mountain ebike on 27.5 inch wheels with 150 mm travel and a Fazua mid-motor with a fully integrated battery hidden in the down tube. The small but powerful motor delivers a nominal power of 400 W. The torque of 60 Nm, in conjunction with the 252 Wh battery, is the ideal partner for climbing hills. The battery range is up to 75 km depending on the use of the three assistance level modes.

The total weight of the Lapierre e-Zesty AM including the Fazua motor is around a cool 19 kg. The carbon frame provides higher stiffness and better acceleration. The entire electric drive weighs only 5 kg! Another indisputable advantage is that the entire Fauza drive system – engine and battery forming one block, can be removed from the lower frame tube very easily and effortlessly. You put on the cover - you save another 5 kg and ride like a classic bike without an engine!

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
