Giant Talon E+ 29 electric bike
Whether you're riding forest roads, bike trails, or looking to make your daily commute easier, the new generation of the Talon E+ model range will be the right companion. With a new, lighter frame with a sleek design and a lightweight, compact battery, the new Talon E+ combines the exhilarating feel of electric pedaling with excellent handling. This model is designed to keep its weight as low as possible and to give the overall design of the bike the impression of a classic bike without a motor and battery.Yamaha's SyncDrive Sport 2 mid-motor has compact dimensions and delivers 75 Nm of torque with up to 400% support. There are 5 support modes or the automatic Smart Assist mode, which adjusts the level of assistance for you, allowing you to fully concentrate on riding. A seamless connection between the motor and your own power is ensured by a system of six sensors that accurately evaluates the energy required, thus optimizing battery consumption. The result is a predictable and natural engine response for a pleasant, smooth ride with optimal performance in every situation.
The new lightweight and compact EnergyPak 430 battery with a capacity of 430 Wh is integrated into the slim down tube and is easily removable for external charging. Advanced BMS (Battery Management System) circuits optimize charging performance through continuous communication between the battery and charger. The EnergyPak 4A Smart Charger ensures fast and safe battery charging. To increase the range , it is possible to install an additional EnergyPak Plus 200 Wh battery, which is offered as an optional accessory (not included with the bike).
Convenient control is provided by the RideControl Dash 2 controller, which also includes a clear color display with high resolution and visibility from various angles. The controller includes separate buttons for Smart Assist mode, Walk Assist function and lighting, and there is also a USB-C connector for charging your phone. The E-Lock electronic lock allows you to lock your e-bike using the RideControl app or by entering a PIN code on the controller. Once locked, pedal assistance is blocked and an alarm is triggered if the bike is attempted to be moved. The RideControl mobile app offers additional useful features for customizing your e-bike to your preferences.
Can handle occasional trips on paved and unpaved roads even in moderate terrain, but with frequent driving, the components will need regular fine-tuning.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
