Prologo NAGO R4 Tirox saddle, 137 mm, black
The NAGO R4 (Redesign 4) is the evolution of the iconic NAGO, the Prologo seat from 2008 that has already won the Giro d'Italia and many classics over the years.
Designed based on the needs of professional teams supported by Prologo, the new seat has been refined through "Pressure Map MyOwn" testing to meet the needs of all cyclists looking for maximum performance and comfort even on long rides.
Compact dimensions with a length of 245 mm and a T-shape, with a slightly advanced anatomical center, provide good freedom of movement in the saddle and maximize pedaling efficiency in all positions.
The semi-circular ergonomic shape makes the NAGO R4 ideal for cyclists with average pelvic rotation flexibility, narrow width of only 137mm, best suited to riders with a lower width of the ischium.
Compared to the NAGO R4 137mm, the 147mm version has 10mm more padding on the sides and 3mm on the top and is suitable for:
- cyclists with a wider gap between the sitting bones, who therefore require a wider base of support on the saddle;
- cyclists with a high body mass index (BMI) who can benefit from increased padding for better weight distribution;
- cyclists looking for an even more comfortable saddle.
The closed version of the NAGO R4 features 3 separate completely independent sections made from the latest generation of variable density foams that ensure excellent support and comfort during all phases of riding.
Underneath the center section is Prolog's Active Base system: a perforated base in the center that combines the advantages of a closed saddle with more support and the advantages of an open base.
The base is made of long fiber carbon, a material that offers an excellent compromise between stiffness and comfort.
TiroX rail made of light alloy steel, a material with an excellent balance between weight and strength, thanks to which the saddle has less stiffness and excellent vibration absorption for those looking for more comfort.
