XT Ice-Tech rotors have a three layer sandwich structure of an aluminum core embedded in stainless steel.

Optimal braking with the cooler disc: Shimano XT SM-RT81S

The higher heat dissipation of the aluminum helps to reduce the surface temperature of the rotor by around 100 degrees Celsius.

Ice TECHNOLOGIES
The fade, which can occur to rotor and pad when braking on a long downhill ride for instance, has a negative impact on the braking performance. SHIMANO has adopted ICE TECHNOLOGY Rotor and ICE TECHNOLOGY Pad to realize the cooling technology for consistent performance. The clad rotor blade, which has a 3 layer-sandwich structure of stainless steel, aluminum and stainless steel, provides better radiation performance achieving from 400˚C to 300˚C surface temperature. Also, the radiation fin has been adopted for the pad. Moreover, the clad rotor blade and the radiator fin provide long pad life, less noise, less fade and lightweight.

Center Lock System
The CENTER LOCK system makes an easy rotor installation possible with spline mount and a lock ring. The lock ring mounting system reduces the total working hours by shortening the amount of time of both installation and de-installation. In addition, the secure fixing by the spline mount enhances precision and rigidity while improving braking efficiency.

SK Dobry deň,
chcem sa opytať na tieto kotuče či su vhodne pre brzdy Shimano SLX,,dalej či je sučasťou balenia aj poistna matica s podložkou,a ktore platničky s chladenim su lepšie resp. vhodne ..a ešte či ich viem namontovať aj na naboj so starym modelom poistnej matice pokiaľ je už na kotučoch novy typ..Prosim o komplet odpoveď..

SK Dobrý deň,

kotúč je možné použiť s akýmikoľvek brzdami, súčasťou balenia je aj poistná matica, tak ako sa uvádza aj v popise. Platničky s chladením sú dostupné organické a tiež kovové, použiť môžete obidvoje na tento kotúč.Pokiaľ máte náboj na centerlock uchytenie kotúča, tak tento môžete použiť.
