Technologies


Ice TECHNOLOGIES
The fade, which can occur to rotor and pad when braking on a long downhill ride for instance, has a negative impact on the braking performance. SHIMANO has adopted ICE TECHNOLOGY Rotor and ICE TECHNOLOGY Pad to realize the cooling technology for consistent performance. The clad rotor blade, which has a 3 layer-sandwich structure of stainless steel, aluminum and stainless steel, provides better radiation performance achieving from 400˚C to 300˚C surface temperature. Also, the radiation fin has been adopted for the pad. Moreover, the clad rotor blade and the radiator fin provide long pad life, less noise, less fade and lightweight.

Center Lock System
The CENTER LOCK system makes an easy rotor installation possible with spline mount and a lock ring. The lock ring mounting system reduces the total working hours by shortening the amount of time of both installation and de-installation. In addition, the secure fixing by the spline mount enhances precision and rigidity while improving braking efficiency.

SK V kombinácii s SLX 7120 4piest. Najprv som ho mal na hardtaili a potom 3 mesiace na endure . S endurom som jazdil často bikeparky a ja celkovo viac brzdím takže dostal zabrať . Brzdil výborne aj strminy neboli žiadny problém. Po celú dobu kotúč bol rovný aj keď som ho raz prehrial až smrdeli brzdy. Nemal som s nim žiadny problem. Akurát čo sa týka životnosti tak 2 páry platničiek a 1 sezóna a kotúč zjazdeny na totálku . Po celý čas bol na prednej brzde. Za tú cenu maximálna spokojnosť.

SK Kotúč má vynikajúce brzdné vlastnosti, dobre odvádza teplo a brzdný účinok je výborný, pri intenzívnom brzdení na strmom technickom traily sa skoro nezahrial, síce na konci trailu pri pustení brzdy vydal nejaký pazvuk ale stlačil som brzdu na sekundu a pazvuk sa už neozval. Používam s brzdami shimano zee a resin platňami.

SK Výborné brzdné vlastnosti, používam ich v kombinácii s resin doštičkami Kool Stop Shimano Deore M525/M515 a účinok sa dostavil, brzdia skvele, robia väčší hluk, ale účinok je perfektný.

SK oproti originalom je brzdny ucinok znatelne lepsi, + som zvacsoval zo 160 na 180 takze je hodne citit rozdiel aj vdaka tomu - kombinacia M615 a Shimano resin platnicky
