It protects the battery of the electric bicycle from adverse weather conditions (water, dust, dirt and low temperature), but also from damage when transporting the bicycle in the holder, from impact or scratches from pebbles.
You can cut the neoprene cover yourself according to your needs and the length of the frame tube with the battery. The product is adapted to these modifications and its functionality will not be impaired by possible trimming.
