E-Hornet 3
A very well-designed, simple and solid E-Hornet 3 bike carrier for heavy e-bikes. Wide wheel supports allow most common sizes of bikes and tires to be mounted. Designed to transport 3 bicycles.
You can mount it on any towing device and it provides a load capacity of 60 kg. The maximum weight of one bicycle is 30 kg.
The E-HORNET 3 sits high on the tow rig, well away from retarders and other hazards such as ramps.
The maximum permitted load is determined by the maximum load of the towing device. Before using the bike carrier, you must check that you have not exceeded this.
Clamping mechanism for the towing device.
E-Hornet 3 can be attached to any towing device without the use of tools. You secure the carrier on the towing device by locking it. The mechanism for fastening the device to the towbar meets the highest safety standards.
Bicycle wheel holders
Long rubberized wheel straps hold tires up to 4” wide; tighten them by pulling and release them with the quick release.
The distance between the individual holders (rails) is 20 cm (measured from the center of the groove).
Locking bicycle frame holders
Mounted on a fixed handle, the bicycle frame holders can be moved along it, thanks to which they adapt to any shape of the bicycle frame.
Access to the trunk of the car
The carrier, even with the bikes, is perfectly balanced and, when folded down, provides sufficiently wide access to the trunk of the car.
Light ramp
The carrier is equipped with a full light ramp and a 13PIN plug.
Folding the carrier during storage
On the carrier, the handle can be folded down to a horizontal position for better storage.
For safe attachment of the E-Hornet 3 cyclocarrier, a distance of 65 mm must be maintained from the center of the towing device to the rear of the vehicle.
