The Fenix HP25R V2.0 rechargeable headlamp features two beams - a long-throw reflector with a top-of-the-line Luminus SST-40 LED creates a well-focused beam with a throw of up to 290 meters, and a second reflector with a powerful Cree XP-G3 S4 LED has a very wide and smooth beam pattern up to 50 meters. The luminous flux of the long-throw reflector is up to 1600 lumens, the wide-beam reflector offers a maximum output of 400 lumens and a neutral white light. The control of both LEDs is independent, the light from both reflectors can be arbitrarily combined to achieve a luminous flux of up to 1600 lumens (when both reflectors are on simultaneously, their max output is 1200 + 400 lumens). The long-throw reflector offers 5 lighting modes and the wide-beam reflector offers three. The headlamp is also equipped with a red LED with an output of 5 lumens, which can be used to send an SOS signal in case of emergency. It is powered by a single 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which is included in the package and is charged via a modern USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. This battery is located in a case on the back, making the headlamp well-balanced on your head. The headlamp is made of hardened aluminum and durable plastics, its construction is fully dustproof and waterproof according to the IP66 standard, and also impact-resistant from a fall of 2 meters. It is also equipped with a battery life extension function. The HP25R V2.0 headlamp replaces the older HP25R version and, thanks to its consistently high performance and endurance parameters, is suitable for everyone who wants a powerful and reliable companion in extreme conditions. It serves excellently for work, e.g., for rescuers, as well as for athletes, climbers, hikers, and other outdoor enthusiasts. All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard. Long-throw reflector: 1600 lumens (2 hours) -> 1000 lumens (4 hours) -> 400 lumens (8 hours) -> 150 lumens (24 hours) -> 50 lumens (56 hours). Red light: 5 lumens (400 hours) -> Red SOS signal 5 lumens (800 hours). Long-throw reflector for a perfect beam with a throw of 290 meters (20849 cd). Wide reflector with a throw up to 50 meters (605 cd).A protective cap may be present on the battery from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use. The long-throw reflector is turned on by pressing and holding the right button (approx. 0.5s), the wide-beam reflector or red light is turned on by pressing and holding the left button (0.5s). Pressing the right button cyclically switches the long-throw reflector modes in the order: 50, 150, 400, 1000, 1600 lumens. Pressing the left button switches the wide-beam reflector and red light modes in the order: white 5, 150, 400 lumens, red 5 lumens, SOS signal. Both reflectors can be turned off by pressing and holding the respective button, and after turning off, the headlamp remembers the last set mode for that button (except when turned off in the highest mode of the long-throw reflector, in which case it will turn on in the second highest mode next time for safety reasons). Both reflectors can also be turned on simultaneously. Battery level indication - a short press of either button (the headlamp must be off) activates the LED battery level indicator between the buttons. If the green light is on, it means the battery is charged at 85-100%; if the green light flashes, it means it is charged at 50-85%. If the red light turns on, the battery is charged at 25-50%, and if it starts flashing, the battery level is critical and the headlamp is charged at less than 25%. The control buttons can be locked to prevent accidental activation, e.g., during transport in luggage - with the headlamp off, press and hold both buttons for at least 3 seconds, then the headlamp will flash red, indicating it is locked. To unlock, press and hold both buttons again for three seconds. Overheating protection - if the headlamp temperature exceeds 60 °C, it will automatically start reducing the output in gradual steps until the temperature stabilizes. Once the temperature drops below 60 °C, the output will gradually increase again. Low battery warning - the headlamp will gradually and automatically reduce the number of available output modes. When the batteries are completely depleted, only the single lowest mode will be available. If the battery indicator starts flashing while the light is on, the battery is almost depleted. Charging - open the USB-C port cover on the battery case and connect the included charging cable, connect the other end of the cable to a computer, power bank, or a USB adapter to the mains or a car USB adapter (not included). During charging, the LED on the battery case glows red. After full charging, it remains green. Charging a completely depleted battery takes approximately 4 hours. Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty. Use only high-quality Li-ion batteries for power. If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher output modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons: The batteries are almost depleted - replace them or charge the battery. The contacts in the battery holder are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
