The rechargeable Fenix ​​HM65R headlamp is characterized by a light magnesium alloy construction, high resistance to water and falling, a unique design with two reflectors and a total output of up to 1 400 lumens. One reflector creates a well-focused light beam with an afterglow of up to 163 meters, and the other reflector has a very wide and continuous light trail. The luminous flux of the remote reflector is up to 1 000 lumens, the reflector with a wide cone offers a maximum output of 400 lumens and a neutral shade of light. The control of both LEDs is independent of each other, the light from both reflectors can be combined arbitrarily to achieve a luminous flux of up to 1400 lumens. The remote reflector offers four lighting levels and the wide reflector three. For power, it uses one 18650 type Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3 500 mAh, which is included in the package and is charged via a modern USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. In case of an emergency, the headlamp can be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries. The headlamp is made of magnesium alloy, which is one-third lighter than aluminium. Its construction is fully dustproof and waterproof to a depth of 2 meters according to the IP68 standard, and also shockproof when dropped from a height of 2 meters. The headlamp is also equipped with a function to extend the endurance. During prolonged use of individual light modes, the headlamp gradually reduces power in small steps to achieve a longer lighting time. The optional light cone shape makes this model one of the best and most versatile rechargeable headlamps on the market. The headlamp is suitable for professional use, various sports activities (hiking, camping, running, cycling, skiing...), underground, for fishermen and other activities. All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
