Suunto Core 2 sú profesionálne hodinky pre outdoorové aktivity, ktoré stavia na dedičstve série Core a prinášajú vylepšenú presnosť senzorov, spoľahlivosť a celkovú použiteľnosť. Sú navrhnuté pre náročnejšie scenáre s vylepšenou presnosťou dát a dlhšou výdržou batérie. Hodinky disponujú vodotesnosťou 10ATM (do 100 metrov) a displejom z materiálu Corning® Gorilla® Glass, ktorý poskytuje vynikajúcu odolnosť proti poškriabaniu a nárazom. Zvýšená odrazivosť obrazovky z pôvodných 6% na 10% (približne 40% zlepšenie) výrazne zlepšuje čitateľnosť na priamom slnku. Batéria typu CR3032 poskytuje životnosť až 23 mesiacov pri typickom používaní.
