The handle with anti-panic function (error protection) is particularly useful for teaching a climber how to lower. The brake is ideal for top-rope belaying, the ASSIST+ mode makes it easier to retrieve the rope.

The anti-panic function on the handle is designed to help users learn to lower climbers: if the user pulls the handle too hard, the function is activated and the handles are deactivated. The rope is automatically locked, to unlock the rope again, the handle must be returned to its original position

ASSIST+ mode: button for switching cam positions. In normal mode, the brake works like a classic GRIGRI, when the button is switched to the ASSIST+ position, the cam is raised, which permanently blocks the rope as a blocker. The rope can only be pulled in this way, it cannot be released, only with the assistance of the handle

This feature is ideal for belaying on suspended ropes, for beginners and children's rings

Easy cable installation thanks to pictograms located on the outside of the brake and on the inside of the cam

Retrieval and release of the rope, including fall arrest, is performed using techniques standard for all Petzl belay devices, with the hand constantly gripping the free end of the rope
