The Race Face Atlas 35 handlebar with 40mm of travel is designed for riders who want an aggressive position combined with better control on steep descents and increased comfort on broken surfaces. New Goldilocks (GL Tune) technology for the 2027 model year optimizes the wall thickness and internal butting of 7000 series aluminum so that the handlebars remain extremely stiff when steering, yet vertically compliant when hitting bumps. In practice, this means significantly less vibration, less hand fatigue and confidence even in the most demanding gravity terrain.
The mid-rise version helps relieve pressure on the wrists and provides a more upright stance without losing front wheel grip. The handlebars are designed for DH, freeride and enduro riding and meet the strictest demands for strength and durability. When shortening, it is important to adhere to the recommended minimum width and use a torque wrench when tightening components to maintain safety and long-term durability.
