When we launched the first full-zip short-sleeved suit in the summer of 2014, Castelli pioneered the sport and changed the way triathletes dress and race. Today, almost no one races in anything other than a short-sleeved suit. Over the past 10 years, we have made numerous modifications to this suit in terms of fit, functionality, and speed. We dare to say that the latest version will once again set the standard. In a sport where aerodynamics are key and every detail is optimized, you don't want to leave anything to chance on race day.
The complete redesign of the Free Sanremo 3 starts with a complete overhaul of the sleeves and shoulders. Hours of CFD analysis and wind tunnel testing have shown a breakthrough aerodynamic improvement, mainly thanks to the specially developed ribbed material on the sleeves and shoulders.
The Forza2 Stretch material has a sophisticated embossed structure that positively affects airflow around the legs. But we don't stop at aerodynamics. The new suit will keep you cool even on the hottest days. The light and breathable torso material with an integrated ice pocket at the neck will come in handy not only when you have to overcome Ali Drive in October Hawaiian heat, but also for any race in hot conditions.
Sanremo means the suit can be fully unzipped at the front for extra ventilation and easier toilet breaks. The back pocket can hold plenty of sports nutrition.
