We set out to create the perfect winter cycling jacket – the sole goal was to make the best jacket we could, using the best materials and innovative construction to ensure comfort in the widest range of conditions, including cold and wet. The Alpha 150 is the result of 12 years of continuous refinement of a concept that will keep you warm and dry, inside and out.
New for 2025, the Alpha 150 jacket now uses exclusive Castelli Polartec® AirCore™ fabric for unparalleled breathability in a wind- and water-resistant material. The inner Polartec Alpha insulation provides warmth while improving moisture wicking. The stretchy, close-fitting cut means you won't even feel like you're wearing a full winter jacket.
This jacket is ideal for cool and dry days, but will withstand everything except all-day heavy rain, when you'll likely reach for a waterproof shell. The fact that it uses recycled yarns and is PFAS-free is a bonus feature of the best winter jacket we've ever made.

Personally, I'm quite critical and I'm among the perfectionists and nitpickers... I went to try the jacket on in person along with other products directly at the store and I was skeptical about the salesperson's high praise. I gave it a 50:50 chance that I might return it after trying it on.
Automatically translatedI won't return it. Riding in a wind of around 10 degrees C and light rain completely convinced me. I only had one base layer under the jacket and I was completely comfortable. The clothing is extra light and evokes an almost summer feeling in motion.
At this price tag, it will be interesting to monitor the wear and tear of the product or the change in properties with repeated washing.... Time will tell.
If you have around 300 euros to spend, this jacket will make you happy.

Presne ako Martin pise. Bunda je odporucana vyrobcom pre teploty od minus 2 do plus 10, A tak s vetrom a dazdom pocitova teplota pri plus 10 moze byt plus 5 a menej, cize presne pre taketo podmienky.

Mám sj starší model a jediné v čom mi novší model sadol trochu menej je ukončenie rukávov. Zrejme bude závisieť od každého inak ale mne osobne by tam ešte kúsok látky nevadilo. Bunda sedi a funguje výborne. Obojstranný zips mi vyhovuje a aj spôsob vrecka je šikovnejší ako na staršom modeli. Na starý model nenechám dopustiť a rád ich striedam, jedna vec je však (ako písali aj iní), pohyb je v nej fakt ako v letných veciach.

super bunda, funguje presne ako sa píše, Som L ale zobral som XL aby som nebol ala hurka a aby sa bez problémov pod ňu niečo vošlo, presne to vyšlo.

Produkt asi ok. Mne nesadol vnútorná izolácia slabá - roztrhla sa po jedinom vyskúšaní. Vrátil som, treba si dať pozor pri obliekaní veľmi, ale veľmi opatrne. Možno vadný kus. Chválim MTBIKER za prístup a ochotu riešiť problém 👍
