Čo sa týka dĺžky, veľkosť 44 by mala sedieť, Shimano má to číslovanie naprieč modelmi v podstate rovnaké. Pozor si ale treba dať na šírku tretry - XC702 je v podstate "polozávodná" tuhá tretra a Shimano tieto tretry či už u MTB modelov tak aj u cestných modelov pomerne dosť úzke.
