The SLR 1 36 Disc WheelSystem road wheels with carbon rims with a height of 36 mm are primarily characterized by their versatility. They combine maximum power transfer with optimal stiffness, efficiency and weight savings to give you not only speed on the climbs but also confidence on the descents. The wheels are designed for disc brakes.
PROPERTIES
- hookless carbon rims for higher overall rim resistance and greater internal width without increasing weight
- the optimized distribution of the carbon layers includes carbon fibers with high tensile strength placed in the most important structural points - the result is wheels with an optimal ratio of high stiffness, low weight and driving comfort
- hubs with low friction and precise internal components eliminate excessive load on the bearings and reduce their friction - this reduces rolling resistance and minimizes energy losses
- Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL) technology ensures that the wires are set to optimal tension when pedaling, which brings increased wheel stiffness and also a higher efficiency of transferring your power
- thanks to the enlarged flange of the DBL hubs, the wires are at a greater angle, which increases the overall torsional/transmission and lateral stiffness for better power transfer
- the 36mm rim height, together with the larger internal width, is ideal for the wider tires common on road bikes today and provides excellent stability in variable wind conditions
