The rims were therefore specially developed to accommodate wide tires and withstand not only impacts from them, but also stones rolling over the rim. The carbon in these rims is woven in a different way and makes them much more durable.
The most durable aero-tips from DT Swiss - specifically the Aerocomp model - were chosen for the string.
It goes without saying that brass nipples are used, which, especially in off-road use, significantly increase the life of the string (aluminum nipples soon get squeezed and corrode quickly).
Everything is entwined on FFWD TWO/ONE hubs with the new 36z ratchet nut system, with a 2:1 spoke ratio.
Together, these components form wheels that you can rely on in the field, and at the same time, they will shoot you forward with their properties.

"Gravel DRIFT - a killer wheelset!"
The DRIFT model is the first of a new line of FFWD wheels designed specifically for gravel and off-road riding. The development here focused on slightly different parameters than similar road wheels.
