Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST Disc CL are road bikes for disc brakes and the possibility of UST tubeless use of tires.
UST - tubeless rim design is key to the possibility of using wider and durable tires, which can be inflated to lower pressures, which achieves greater comfort, but also does not lose low rolling and resistance and with it speed.
The unique rims are asymmetrical from the original Maxtal aluminum material machined by ISM 4D technology for maximum weight reduction while maintaining sufficient rigidity.
The inner width is 19mm, which provides ideal support for tires up to 32mm wide. The height of the rims is 22mm.
The joint of the rims is welded by the SUP method. Thanks to Fore drilling a hole for the nipple, where only the outer wall of the rim is drilled, into which the thread for the nipple is then cut, it is not necessary to use a rim tape for tubeless use.
The wheel hubs are aluminum with a direct wire attachment and rotate on QRM + industrial bearings on the front wheel and QRM Auto on the rear.
Walnut is ID360 - Instant Drive 360 ensuring maximum reliability and at the same time low weight.
The wheels are braided with steel flat Straightpull wires on the front wheel 2x crossed. The Isopulse system is used on the rear wheel.
Yksion Pro UST tires are directly part of the wheels and have a width of 25 mm, 127 TPI, Kevlar heel, 11 Storm single compound and UST tubeless design.
