The Giant SLR0 40 rear wheel is a top-of-the-line carbon wheel designed for universal use on a road bike. Thanks to its lightweight yet strong hookless rim construction, it offers excellent efficiency, excellent power transfer, and exceptional maneuverability on any terrain. The 40mm-high rim provides aerodynamic benefits and excellent driving dynamics, while the rim width is optimized for wider tires, contributing to better traction and comfort. The rear hub is compatible with the Shimano HG system.

Giant was established in 1971 in Taiwan, they are one of the largest bicycle producers in the world. In the beginning, they made bikes for other companies. Since 1981 Giant has been supplying the market with bicycles under their name. They were one of the first companies to start mass production of carbon framesets. Liv is their brand for bikes for women offering MTB, road and gravel bikes. Components are also included in their offer as well as wheelsets under the name Cadex (their brand name).
