This range is created for riders who want to benefit from the benefits of wheels with minimal weight. The carbon rim is made with an emphasis on low weight while maintaining the necessary stiffness. In this way, not only the feeling of lightness is achieved, but above all the first-class reactivity of the wheel during climbs or changes in pace. The outer dimension of the tire rim is 27 mm, the inner dimension is 19 mm, and the rims are factory-prepared for a tubeless solution. The rims are optimized for use with disc brakes, do not contain a braking surface and are painted right up to the edge of the rim.
Both wheels use straightpull stringing - DT Swiss Aerolite or SAPI CX Ray wires. The nipples used are DT Swiss Pro Lock Squarx made of brass, which will ensure longer string stability and durability of the wheels. The ratio of wires in the string is 2:1 (16 spokes on the cassette/reel, 8 on the opposite side). Thanks to this, the wheels are very well balanced and the rim is stressed equally on both sides. The hubs on this version are manufactured by DT Swiss exclusively for FFWD, while the rest of the hub is completely standard and offers the benefits of the renowned DT Swiss hub variability. The higher weight of the pair by several grams is due to the heavier cartridges in the disc version.
