WARNING
- This wheel is equipped with a quick release hub for easy installation and removal. Failure to properly install this quick release hub (wheel) to the bicycle can cause the wheel to detach from the bicycle while riding, resulting in serious bodily injury.
- Use a front fork equipped with a wheel retention mechanism.
- BE SURE TO CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE QUICK RELEASE HUB IN THE SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE. If you have any questions, ask your dealer. INCORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE HUB CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS BODILY INJURY.
- Before riding the bicycle, check that the wheels are securely fastened. If the quick release lever is not used properly, the wheel may come off and so on, and a serious accident could result from falling.
- If the quick release mechanism is not used correctly, the wheel may come off the bicycle and serious injury may result. Read the service instructions for the quick release mechanism carefully before use.
CAUTION
Only tighten and loosen the quick release lever by hand. Never use tools such as hammers to tighten the quick release lever, as this may damage it.
Never tighten the wheel to the frame by turning the quick release lever as shown in the illustration on the right. Simply turning the lever in a circular motion will not tighten the wheel to the frame. Detachment of the wheel due to incorrect hub installation can result in serious personal injury.
