I"ve just received these rimms
These rimms are nowhere near 33mm in outer with, 28mm when I"m measuring, rounding upwards.
I wanted to use 44mm tires for road use, but now I"m a little concerned to mount these tires for riding pavement in the mountains.
38mm tires would be an alternative but I prefer the 44mms

23 mm is height of the rim, 26 mm is an internal width (actually measured 1round 25 mm) - usage of 44C tires will be non-problematic.
I agree with the outer diameter - manufacturer of the wheels specify it too "generous", unfortunately
