The features of these agile sport slalom skis combine performance with fun. The dimensions of the skis indicate that their domain is short and medium turns on groomed slopes.
A reinforced wooden construction in the front of the ski and two titanium plates ensure that the PC 71 remains stable and precise even at higher speeds and aggressive carving.
High-quality equipment for experienced skiers and carving enthusiasts. Variants over 170 cm provide an interesting ratio of natural radius to ski length, and skiing on them is a unique sporting experience. The PC 71 is not ideal for skid turns, nor is it particularly suitable for skiing off-piste.
Riding experience:
"Definitely the most playful and fun skis I've ever ridden." Thanks to the offset geometry, where you stand almost exactly in the middle of the ski, the transition from turn to turn is very easy. The skis are very sculpted, so even at 160 cm tall, I chose a length of 175 cm and it was a great experience because I could do slalom turns even on such long skis. I felt very confident and safe on these skis. If you like carving, these skis are a great choice for you.” (Radka Luštincová (1990), PC 71 170 cm)
"Excellent skis for sports skiers." You have to understand this – “in the beginning, the advice tends to lean more towards the top”! And when you do, they'll reward you with great edge grip, even on ice. The 160 cm length is ideal for my weight of 75 kg, but the 160–165 cm lengths cover a wide range of skiers (both men and women) with a weight from approximately 65 kg to infinity.” (Standa Plecitý (1956), CK Růžový Panter, PC 71 160 cm)
"These skis are amazing." I've tried everything from different manufacturers, but I don't know of any other skis with such a pronounced side cutout at this length. The result is great! They are fast, they are like TGVs, they are like Shinkansens – they go through curves at full speed, but they don't derail! They hold and are safe – a great experience!!” (Standa Plecitý (1956), CK Růžový Panter, PC 71 185 cm)
“These skis are part of the brand’s (formerly known as PCT) family silverware. If you are a good skier (male or female!!!) who prefers active and precise short and medium turns with the ability to change rhythm on groomed slopes, these skis are for you. Although they have a radius, they are not sharp or “tuned” slalom skis that either work with you to carve in one rhythm or simply throw you off. These are skis with a precise start to the arc, but they are neither stubborn nor dictatorial. They also take into account your current fitness, abilities, and desire to carve out every arc or just circle within a radius (even slightly above it). I find them to be the most maneuverable skis for all-day use; however, I would definitely recommend choosing the longer version for this purpose. (Honza Šafka (1966), PC 71 175 cm, PC 71 180 cm)
Top layer
We use high-quality structured polyamide top layers to produce these skis.
Laminated layers
These skis use one biaxial and one triaxial prepreg support layer. Prepreg is a fabric that is already perfectly saturated by the manufacturer. Although this material is more expensive, it eliminates errors in fabric saturation.
Titanal
Titanal is the highest quality base layer used in ski manufacturing, which significantly improves longitudinal and torsional stiffness. Two layers of titanal are used in these skis.
Core
We use a solid wood core – one-way spruce and beech plywood.
Side walls
For the side walls, we use ABS material with guaranteed quality from the largest European manufacturer ISOSPORT.
Damping
It's not about cushioning when skiing, but about cushioning differences in the material's stretch, which helps keep the material together. For damping, we use anti-vibration rubber strips with a thickness of 0.2 mm.
Edges
On these skis we use high-quality steel edges with a hardness of 48° HRC.
Base
These skis are equipped with a high-quality sintered racing base.
