alpina Ladies Progress 68 + VSP 412 Speedcom ladies set
The LP 68 is a women's downhill ski designed for shorter and medium turns that will appeal to a wide range of female skiers, although it is primarily aimed at those who are more focused on the sport. These high-performance, sporty women's skis are based on the RC slalom ski shape, but with the removal of one titanium layer and a slight rocker at the tip, the skis are easier to control and, thanks to a narrower center, allow for easy transition from turn to turn. Despite their slightly lower weight, these skis are strong and reliable enough even at medium speeds.
The LP 68 is simply obedient, easy to control and with minimal effort you will enjoy a perfect skiing experience.
Driving experience:
"When I first put these skis on, I didn't really trust them." They seemed quite light, as if I had nothing on my feet, and I thought they wouldn't be very good to ride, but the first few turns proved me wrong. The skis are very playful and agile, and the skiing is dynamic and aggressive, but at the same time quite easy. I didn't even break a sweat and enjoyed the ride 100%, just the way I like it. I definitely recommend them to all skiers who like clean, shorter turns on the edges. (Radka Luštincová (1990), LP 68 161 cm)
Top layer
To produce these skis, we use high-quality structured polyamide top layers from the largest European supplier ISOSPORT.
Laminated layers
These skis use two biaxial and one triaxial prepreg support layer. Prepreg is a fabric that is perfectly saturated by the manufacturer. Although this material is more expensive, it eliminates errors in fabric saturation.
Titanal
Titanal is the highest quality base layer used in ski manufacturing, which significantly improves longitudinal and torsional stiffness. Two layers of titanal are used in these skis.
Core
We use a solid wood core – one-way spruce and beech plywood.
Side walls
For the side walls, we use ABS material with guaranteed quality from the largest European manufacturer ISOSPORT.
Damping
It is not about cushioning when skiing, but about cushioning differences in material expansion, which promotes material preservation. For damping, we use anti-vibration rubber strips with a thickness of 0.2 mm.
Edges
On these skis we use high-quality steel edges with a hardness of 48° HRC.
Base
These skis use a high-quality sintered racing base from ISOSPORT, the largest European manufacturer.
