Pedaling and yet downhill binding
Downhill bindings are proven and their heel construction is unsurpassed, and that's where the Fritschi Tecton 13 comes from. Its rigid, non-rotating heel without a joint has no play and enables the direct transfer of forces from the ski boots to the edge of the ski. Thus, better controllability and driving safety are achieved. Furthermore, a better transmission of forces is also achieved by means of:- the grooves in the heel fit into the inserts on the shoe and thus increase the lateral stiffness of the binding,
- I lean the ski boot on the heel pad,
- large screw spacing,
- by attaching the heel directly to the ski,
- large and wide contact area under the toe and heel.
