If you're looking for a model with unbeatable grip that won't let you down even in the mud, look no further.
The outsole with the soft G-GRIP compound is similar to the material used in climbing shoes - it bites into the surface perfectly and holds on wet surfaces. The 8mm high lugs ensure a secure grip, which, combined with the soft rubber, make the X-TALON 212 an effective weapon in mud, snow and loose terrain.
The shoes will not let you down on forest paths, in open terrain, when climbing a rope or on wet rocks.
The upper is made of ballistic nylon that resists tearing - whether you run through thorns, rubble or sharp roots. It has a narrow cut that tightly hugs the foot and reliably fixes it even in technical terrain and traverses. In addition, it has a water-repellent DWR treatment that helps keep your feet dry.
The midsole height under the heel is 13 mm – enough for cushioning in soft terrain, but still with enough surface perception (proprioreception), which is key on the trail.
X-TALON 212 are the ideal choice for obstacle courses, orienteering or shorter runs in winter.
