Are you looking for light, flexible, but at the same time durable and stable shoes for any mountain adventure? We present to you the new generation ROCLITE PRO G 400 with waterproof GTX membrane.
The ROCLITE PRO G 400 is not just a running shoe with a high upper. When developing this model, we made sure that every element works perfectly for a specific outdoor use, without suffering the DNA of the INOV-8, which is deeply rooted in a superior feeling for the terrain, great flexibility and preservation of the natural functioning of the foot.
The new second generation of this popular trekking shoe has a completely redesigned upper. It remains just as spacious and comfortable, but is now made of extremely durable ripstop fabric that can withstand even the toughest terrain and does not absorb water, so the shoes do not weigh you down when moving in the wet. The shape of the heel has also been changed for a more reliable anchoring of the foot.
The sole is made of a new generation ROCLITE pattern, which is applied on a thinner base layer than ever before. This results in top-notch grip, which you can be used to for a long time with models from the ROCLITE family, while achieving a significantly lower weight.
The midsole has an 8 millimeter drop and is built on the proven 12/20 mm geometry. But that's where all the similarities with previous ROCLITE models end. A fundamental innovation is the use of the META-PLATE PRO carbon reinforcement, which smoothly transitions from the protection of the foot in the front and middle part to the external heel cup. This unique construction effectively connected the entire shoe from toe to heel for superior proprioception, stability and foot contour. Energy foam POWERFLOW MAX takes care of damping.
The upper is stretched on a width 4 last (standard fit), so your transverse arches will have enough space to work naturally even during an all-day hike. The high top with mountain binding easily pulls down so that ankle sprains become a distant memory and you can tackle even the most technical terrain with confidence and confidence. The combination of GTX membrane and ripstop fabric ensures durability, thermal comfort and protection of the foot
As a result, we get a shoe that, in its construction and functional properties, is much closer to mountain shoes than to running shoes, but compared to mountain shoes, it offers a significantly lower weight and, above all, an incomparably better feel for the terrain and natural behavior when walking and running.
The main domain of the ROCLITE PRO G 400 GTX is short and longer hikes where walking prevails over running, but even the occasional jog is no problem thanks to the balanced ratio of flexibility and stability.
