Mundaka climbing shoes are the result of a combination of a superbly engineered last and flexibility that allows for incredible precision. The shape of the climbing shoe precisely hugs the foot and essentially merges with it, giving you the precision and sensitivity you need for your toughest climbing and bouldering projects.The climbing shoes are made on the widest last from the line of aggressively shaped climbing shoes and are suitable for overhanging routes and bouldering, while you won't lose even on vertical or slightly inclined technical routes.
Mundaka belongs to the AERIAL PLUS LINE, which offers top features for performance climbers. Their shaping and bending is aggressive, making them suitable for both overhanging routes and small steps of vertical walls or rajbas. Despite their aggressive shape, they are actually very comfortable, which is unusual for performance climbing shoes.
- Rigidity (hardness) 2/5 – soft. The higher the number, the harder the climb. For harder climbs, the steps can be loaded with more force.
- Sensitivity 4.5/5 – high sensitivity. The higher the number and thus the greater the sensitivity, the more information you can find out about the step you are standing on.
- FWR (foot width) 4.5/5 – the FWR value expresses how well the climbing shoe can adapt to the width of the foot. In general, with larger FWR values, climbing shoes will fit a wider foot better.
