  • Maximum comfort while maintaining characteristic elements from performance models.
  • Perfectly balanced features - a balance of performance and comfort.
  • Simple and precise velcro fastening, perfectly distributes tension along the entire foot.
  • Perfectly adjustable for different foot widths.
  • Wide opening tongue for easy on and off.
  • Extremely precise on small edges, curves or in joints.

STEP UP LINE – balanced climbing lines

Tenaya ARAI climbing shoes belong to the Step Up Line series. They are specially designed for easier and more intuitive foot placement on any type of surface. They are exceptionally comfortable and will allow you to improve your footwork. Due to their characteristics, they will sit the most in vertical or slightly overhanging paths, whether on a rock or an artificial wall.

  • Rigidity (hardness) 3.5/5 – medium hard/hard. The higher the number, the harder the climb. For harder climbs, the steps can be loaded with more force.
  • Sensitivity 3.5/5 – moderately sensitive/sensitive. The higher the number and thus the greater the sensitivity, the more information you can find out about the step you are standing on.
  • FWR (foot width) 5/5 – the FWR value expresses how well the climbing shoe can adapt to the width of the foot. In general, with larger FWR values, climbing shoes will fit a wider foot better.

You can withstand practically anything

Climbing shoes of the Spanish manufacturer Tenaya, model ARAI, are designed for climbing vertical and slightly overhanging walls, where steps are often absent or difficult to notice. Micro steps, cracks, rajbas or corner climbing. Here, "ARAI" are at home everywhere. You can use them great even when fooling around in the Alpine or Tatra walls all day.
