SCARPA FURIA AIR climbing shoes

The SCARPA Furia Air combines extreme sensitivity and instant response with performance-focused comfort. It is designed to provide the feeling of "barefoot" contact with the rock, but at the same time the precision and control of a top climbing shoe.

The soft, adaptive construction provides direct feedback from holds and allows you to read even the smallest steps with absolute accuracy. Reduced stiffness delivers a technical, responsive feel without sacrificing comfort – even with tight shoes. The laminated microfiber upper wraps the foot like a glove, while the Alcantara insert on the thumb increases the softness of the contact and brings the foot even closer to the surface for maximum feel.

The result is an extremely precise, sensitive and powerful climbing shoe for technical routes, bouldering and maximum control on the smallest pitches.

Product features
Seven-panel upper construction with seamless thumb panel and offset quadruple stitching for a perfect fit
Wave Strap system distributes pressure evenly and allows for a wide range of volume adjustment
Highly elastic tongue makes it easy to put on
Minimal 1.0mm Flexan midsole with floating pad under the toe for extreme sensitivity
3mm thick Vibram® XS Grip2 outsole (1/3 length) with handmade 2mm XS Grip2 heel for maximum traction and control
Differentiated Tension System (DTS) directs force precisely where it's needed, maintaining an aggressive, flexed shape while allowing for freedom in the midfoot
The M50 rubber forefoot features the SRT (Surround Rubber Tension) system, which, in conjunction with the DTS, provides superior performance in toe-hooks and toe-in.
FZR last shape, known from the Drago XT model, which ensures a deeper and more secure foot fit
