Formthotics Skialp are orthopedic, moldable inserts for ski touring boots that are designed to provide comfort, support, and stability while walking or skiing on any terrain. They have a minimalist design and adapt to the shape of your foot and ski boot.
Insert properties
Thermoformable: The insoles are made of a double layer of high-quality Formax thermoformable foam that adapts to the unique shape of your foot. This ensures comfort, improves response and feedback from the slopes
Arch Support: The unique arch design supports the foot in a natural position, which reduces fatigue and improves stability and function. Evenly distributes the weight over the surface of the foot, allowing better control of the fine movements needed to control the skis
Antimicrobial protection: the insoles are treated with Ultrafresh technology, which prevents the growth of bacteria that cause foot odor
Heel Support: Deep heel profile provides increased support and control around the heel, helping to absorb impact upon impact and improve control on snow
Performance and stability: thanks to the perfect adaptation of the insoles to the natural shape of your foot, more control, power and speed on the slope are ensured
Before installation, we consult on the selection of the correct insole model according to the customer's foot, shoe and activity. Subsequently, the size of the thermoplastic insole is adjusted, fitted into the shoe and heated using a special Formthotics device so that the ideal temperature of the insole is reached, at which it adapts to the foot.
