The sporty cut of the Claim W softshell pants is suitable for year-round use, focusing on mountaineering and alpine hiking. Anatomically shaped reinforced knees and reinforced inner lower parts of the trousers provide high mechanical resistance and thus the durability of the trousers. The pants have two main pockets with YKK zippers and one slanted thigh pocket with a contrasting zipper.

A zippered slit at the bottom of the pants allows for width adjustment. The DWR surface treatment of the material supports the water-repellent and quick-drying properties of the pants. This treatment creates droplets that run down the surface. The durability of this impregnation is up to 10 washing cycles and it can be renewed with commonly available products in the form of sprays or detergents.
