Bell Super Air R Spherical helmet
Although the Bell brand is the undisputed leader in the field of helmets with a removable chin guard, it constantly strives to surpass itself. The Super Air R model is not a simple facelift of the Super 3R helmet. It is a completely new helmet that weighs an incredible 144 g less. Add to that significantly better ventilation, easier fastening with two buckles (instead of three) and the innovative Spherical Powered by MIPS technology, which works as a kind of cushioning inside the helmet.The helmet actually consists of two hemispheres: an outer one made of harder EPS foam and an inner one made of softer EPP foam. Both are connected using yellow elastomers and slide over each other similar to a joint. In the event of an impact, the outer hemisphere stops immediately, while the inner hemisphere and the head can continue to move, which is slowly dampened by elastomers. Proste odpruženie.
