V podstate áno, rozdiel je hlavne v dizajne a pár drobnostiach. BHE-22 má o 1 vetrací otvor navyše oproti BHE-174. Na BHE-174 je možné uchytiť originálne svetlo (potrebné dokúpiť, nie je v balení) a má aj sieťku proti hmyzu.
