The Edge 820 GPS cycling computer is equipped with a high-contrast touch screen and the possibility of comfortable control in the rain or in gloves.
The cycling computer contains a sensitive GPS chip for accurate and reliable determination of position, speed or distance. The built-in barometric altimeter with automatic calibration according to GPS takes care of accurate height measurement.
The cycling computer is complemented by Bluetooth and the possibility of connecting to a smartphone (iOS, Android, Windows Phone), from which it is able to download sms messages, calls and other notifications </strong>, as well as weather forecast or use it for data connection with a training server . The smartphone is still just an accessory for the cycling computer and the Edge 820 works fully even without the presence of a phone.
Edge 820 is equipped with ANT + wireless technology, with which it can connect a heart rate sensor, speed / cadence sensor, but also ANT + wattmeter (eg Garmin Vector2), bicycle radar (Varia radar) or bicycle "head-up" dipslej Varia Vision. (All optional accessories.)
When connected to a wattmeter, the bike computer is able to measure cyclists' performance parameters, such as VO2max, FTP (functional threshold power), and when using a Garmin Vector2 wattmeter, left / right foot balance or independent sitting and standing ride evaluation.
The Edge 820 cycling computer is compatible with the FOOD segments, which it is able to finish in its memory, point out on the track, show comparisons with leading times while riding and write the result after the ride in the FOOD rankings.
The new Edge 820 Bundle includes heart rate, cadence and speed sensors.

Zdravim. Chcel by som sa opytat ci je mozne pristroj pouzivat aj bez GPS. Viem ze ma snimace ale ci sa da GPS vypinat a zapinat rucne podla potreby. Alebo sa pristroj za kazdym pripoji hned na druzicu a nie je to mozne vypnut.Za odpoved Vam vopred dakujem.
