Giant Explore E+ 2 STA 28 electric bike

The new generation of Giant Explore E+ electric bikes is designed for adventure trips, daily commutes, and exploring new places. Modern design, high comfort and advanced technologies bring smooth driving support, enough power for long distances and the freedom to go even further without restrictions.

The drive is provided by Yamaha's SyncDrive mid-motor with up to 85 Nm of torque, which provides natural expression and smooth assistance. There are five levels of support or an intelligent Smart Assist mode that automatically adapts performance to current driving conditions. Precise assistance dosing is ensured by a system of six sensors, which optimizes energy consumption and increases driving efficiency.

The integrated 625Wh EnergyPak battery is elegantly housed in the down tube and uses an advanced BMS power management system for efficient and safe charging.

Modern control is provided by the RideControl Ergo 4 unit on the handlebars, complemented by the integrated RideControl Go 2 controller and the RideDash EVO 2.0 color display built into the stem. Front and rear lighting are a matter of course.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

Giant was established in 1971 in Taiwan, they are one of the largest bicycle producers in the world. In the beginning, they made bikes for other companies. Since 1981 Giant has been supplying the market with bicycles under their name. They were one of the first companies to start mass production of carbon framesets. Liv is their brand for bikes for women offering MTB, road and gravel bikes. Components are also included in their offer as well as wheelsets under the name Cadex (their brand name).
