SILCA Nastro Cuscino Bar Tape
By using laminates of SILCAthane, SILCAlon and 3M Viscoelastic adhesive instead of a single foam extrusion, the tape can be optimized for a range of desired properties. Taping the tape is just as important as the bar tape itself, which is why Silca developed the 'butterfly' with a fully adhesive backing – it covers the rear section better, and is finished with an aluminum end cap. The technologies are inspired by running shoes, F1 tires, and Silca's own damping research.|
