SILCA Nastro Cuscino Bar Tape
Using laminates of SILCAthane, SILCAlon, and 3M Viscoelastic adhesive instead of a single foam extrusion allows the tape to be optimized across a range of desired properties. Taping the bar is as important as the tape itself, so Silca developed a fully adhesive backed 'butterfly' – this covers the back side better, and is finished with an aluminum end cap. Technologies are inspired by running shoes, F1 tires, and Silca's own damping research.|
