The Zipp Service Course seatpost is lightweight, durable, secure and offers precise adjustment at an affordable price. Bottom wrench access to the seat lock screws is easy and allows for micro-adjustment of the seat position. Better rider position on the bike means better performance to achieve higher speed. With an incorrectly adjusted saddle, important energy is lost with each pedal.
The safe low-profile saddle lock allows the saddle to be pushed further back, and with the added options of saddle offset of 0 or 20 mm (shifting the center of the saddle backwards relative to the axis of the seat post), the correct position on the bicycle is achievable for almost all cyclists. For greater durability, lower weight and efficient use of each gram, the seatpost head is not glued to the tube, but is 3D forged from 6061 aluminum. The Service Course seat post is 350 mm long.
