Selle Royal Scientia A1 saddle, 127 mm
Narrow sports saddle, central depression with gel, width 127 mm, spring-loaded rails, weight 380 g.
Scientia saddles are the result of a collaboration between Selle Royal and the Sports University of Cologne.
Together they developed a range of 6 ergonomic saddles, based on university-level laboratory studies.
The selection of saddles is based on the measurement of the width of the sit bones. The A1 version is designed for a pelvis width of less than 11 cm and a sporty to racing riding style. In the lower part of the saddle, in the area of the rails, there is a unique Curva Suspension, which provides the saddle with excellent lateral flexibility.
In the upper part of the saddle there is a central channel with a gel layer to relieve the seat area and reduce the transmission of vibrations from the wheel.
