Its ergonomic V-shape with a medium-round profile stands out with a wide, flat and comfortable toe box that allows for efficient pedaling uphill and downhill. A distinctive feature of the Altius model is the raised rear section, which helps maintain a stable riding position and prevents slipping backwards. The Active Base System, with a hole in the base covered with a thin layer of padding, creates a wide and soft support surface that reduces pressure while providing protection from water and mud.
