Prologo Dimension R2 saddle, 143 mm
Dimension R2 is Prologo's new ergonomic high-performance saddle, which belongs to the top-of-the-line Dimension saddles, one of the most popular on the market in recent years.
It's never easy to redesign a top-of-the-line model like the Dimension, but Prologo's pursuit of maximum performance combined with continuous improvement in construction and materials has allowed them to further innovate an already top-of-the-line saddle and produce the lightest Dimension saddle ever, weighing just 139 grams, 13% less than the previous Dimension 143 model.
A multidisciplinary saddle with compact dimensions of 245x143 mm, ideal for road and XC/marathon use, designed for the most demanding professionals and amateurs who are always looking for maximum performance and top-notch components.
The Dimension R2 has a completely redesigned 40mm toe box, which is 30% wider than the previous model, and a more rounded side profile.
Both the tip and the center of the saddle now have a flatter surface to favor an even more forward and aerodynamic riding position, allowing the saddle to be used along its entire length.
The new design has been researched to further increase saddle comfort, especially when pedaling hard.
A new material was also introduced in the development of this saddle: a new EVA foam, which allowed the thickness of the padding in the back to be reduced by 1 mm, which is 20% less than the previous model.
This reduction in padding allowed for a reduction in overall weight while maintaining the support and comfort of the saddle.
The base is made of injected Long Fiber carbon, a material that offers an excellent compromise between stiffness and comfort.
The rail is made of Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) material composed of carbon fiber, Kevlar and aluminum fiber, which is ideal for cyclists looking for maximum stiffness and lightness.
