Sometimes when you want to develop a new product, you have to leave tradition aside. The new SRAM RED® AXS™ power meter is direct proof. By moving more of the gear range from the chainrings to the cassette, we were able to maintain a consistent 13-tooth gap across all variants of the chainring pairs. Thanks to this, we were able to bring more useful guidance and improve the shift performance in all configurations. Performance measurement is based on the Quarq DZero™ platform integrated into the cranks. A true pinnacle of performance measurement.
- The X-Range™ transmission concept presents a larger gear range and smoother jumps between gears, so you'll always find the right gear.
- The power measurement is accurate with a deviation of +/- 1.5% and is not affected by the weather during driving.
