Never use grease on bolts or clamping surfaces.
Always use the recommended torque specified in the installation instructions or on the product.
Do not use this product in a category other than that for which it is intended (such as road racing or MTB).
Do not use MTB handlebars in combination with extensions.
Do not use extensions that exceed the recommended torque of 6 Nm.

Regularly check that the bolts are still tightened to specification.
