To guarantee for the Dyna-Sys compact 3-way cranks optimum switching
performance, SHIMANO also developed corresponding new derailleur.
In terms of smooth gearshifts, easy operation and low profile they are at the same high level as the current front derailleur, but are compatible with both the current 42 to 32-24T crankset and with the new 40-30-22T.
